Kay Springsteen, Editor

With a background in primary teaching, it’s no surprise that Kay Springsteen finds opportunities to pass on her knowledge of the writing craft whenever she edits. She balances her time between writing and editing, and she has worked as a senior editor for a number of indie presses, as well as built an extensive list of private clients, many of whose books end up on the New York Times or USA Today Bestseller lists. She loves working on all genres and specializes in the details that help polish a story to a gleaming work of art.

Zee Monodee, Editor

Zee has been dabbling in story-writing for as long as she can remember. A lover of languages, it’s no surprise that she went the Humanities’ way in her studies. Holder of a BA in Communications Science from UNISA (University of South Africa), Zee has worked as a freelance editor & ghostwriter for the past 7 years, editing to put herself through university. Between 2012 and early 2014, she has spear-headed, managed, and edited the Africa-centric Ubuntu line at Decadent Publishing, on top of freelancing for said publishing house and a roster of clients, both publishers and indie authors.

Zee calls the multicultural island of Mauritius, located in the southern Indian Ocean, home. In the spare time she almost never manages to find between working and writing, she can be found enjoying a laugh with her family or with her head plunged in a book, where else?

LeslieLeslie McKee, Editor

Leslie is a professional editor and proofreader. Her editing career began as a reviewer for RT Bookreviews Magazine, where she still reviews books of various genres. Books have always been a significant part of her life. Since 2012, she has been professionally editing and proofreading manuscripts for authors and publishing houses (as an independent contractor). Leslie’s lifelong love of reading and learning, in addition to reviewing and teaching, led her into the publishing industry. Editing and reviewing are not merely jobs. They are her passions. Leslie is an avid reader with an eye for detail, making her a perfect match for this career.

Leslie is a member of ACFW and has served as a judge for their First Impression, Carol Awards, and Genesis contests. She is also a member of The Christian PEN and a part of their newsletter editorial staff.

In 2014 Leslie began working as an independent contractor with HarperCollins Christian publishing. Ladd, Beth Wiseman, Amy Clipton, Kathleen Fuller, Vannetta Chapman, Suzanne Wolfe, Andrew Klavan, Debra Clopton, Christy Parrish, and Lisa Samson.
